Concert featuring the brutal deathcore band Crown Magnetar with support from To The Grave at Come and Take It Live.
Crown Magnetar play Come and Take It Live on Wednesday, October 7, with To The Grave opening. It's a deathcore double bill that brings together two bands from opposite sides of the world.
Crown Magnetar comes from Colorado, where they've built a sound they describe as relentless and trend-defying. It's brutal deathcore that leans on technical precision and slam-infused heaviness, all held together by a hostile atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to start with them, 'Godkiller' is one of their key tracks.
To The Grave is an Australian deathcore band from Sydney, formed in 2010. They're known for a militant vegan stance and savage lyrics directed at animal cruelty and environmental issues. They've put out two albums in recent years: Director's Cuts in 2023 and Everyone's a Murderer in 2024, with 'Red Dot Sight' and 'Wastage' among their better-known songs. They're often cited as one of Australia's heaviest exports.

Between the two, you've got a Colorado brutal deathcore act and a Sydney deathcore band that's been at it since 2010, so the night stays firmly in that heavy territory. The show is at Come and Take It Live, 2015 E Riverside Dr (bldg 4), Austin, TX 78741, starting at 6 PM. Tickets are $60.
