A networking mixer for Austin arts organisations with complimentary food and drinks, presented by the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
The Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 6th Annual Austin Arts Mixer at KMFA Classical on Thursday, August 13, from 5 to 7 PM. It's a partnership with the station, powered by Lorenz & Lorenz, Personal Injury Attorneys, and it's held in the Draylen Mason Music Studio at 41 Navasota Street.
The whole point of the mixer is to get more than three dozen Austin arts organizations in one room. They'll be there to talk about their upcoming shows, new projects, and their 2026-27 seasons, so it's a good place to get a sense of what's coming to the city's stages and galleries over the next year. Among the groups attending are Austin Opera, Austin Pride, Austin Rainbow Theatre, Austin Asian American Film Festival, Zach Theatre, Conspirare, and the Neill-Cochran House Museum.
There are complimentary bites from Alfred's Catering and drinks from Deep Eddy Vodka, Milam & Greene Whiskey, WildGins, Twin Liquors, and Hi Sign Brewing, plus door prizes. The Austin LGBT Chamber, which presents the mixer through its Art Committee, was founded in 1997 to work toward equality and inclusion by promoting economic vitality in the community and strengthening LGBT and ally businesses. In 2004, it became a founding member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and in 2019 it joined forces with the LGBT Chambers in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio to form the Texas LGBT Chamber.
