A festive day of holiday activities for all ages with Santa photos, story times, crafts, a Jingle Parade, and historic holiday demonstrations.
Winter Fest 2026 takes over the Atlanta History Center on Saturday, December 5, from 10 AM to 2 PM. It's a full day of holiday activities for all ages, and since it's included with admission, you can spend as much or as little time there as you like.
The day is built around the campus itself. The Historic Houses and exhibits are decorated for the season, and you can walk through the wintertime Goizueta Gardens. There's a festive post office playhouse where kids can mail their own letters to Santa, and a family seek-and-find adventure that lets you see what's blooming in the garden during the coldest months. The exhibit Joy to the City shares the joy of Atlanta's history, so you can work that in between the more active parts of the day.
As the morning turns to afternoon, the schedule fills up. There are photos with Santa, Tinsel Tales, and carolers, along with cocoa and camellias, historic holiday demonstrations, crafts, and holiday shopping. The Jingle Parade kicks off at 12:30 PM, which is a good anchor for the middle of the day if you're planning your visit around a specific time.
