Tasting at Ten

Counter Culture Coffee hosts Tasting at Ten every Friday morning at their Training Center, 318 Cherokee Avenue Southeast #104 in Atlanta. It's a free coffee tasting and education session that's been running for nearly three decades, built on the company's belief that education sits at the heart of their business.

Each week, the team picks a coffee or a few coffees to feature and pairs them with a complementary brewing method. They guide you through the tasting, sharing where the coffee comes from and why they love it. The goal is to connect you with the effort of everyone involved in bringing the coffee from seed to cup, whether the session pours a classic blend or a fresh micro-lot. It's open to everyone and requires no prior experience, so you don't need to know your way around a cupping spoon to get something out of it.

If you're looking for something more comprehensive, they also run monthly Catalog Cupping events on the first Monday of each month, where you can taste your way through the entire Counter Culture Coffee menu. Between the two, you can drop in for a single coffee on a Friday or spend a Monday morning sampling the whole lineup.
