Free monthly coffee cupping at Counter Culture Coffee where attendees taste through the roaster's entire menu of seasonal and single-origin coffees.
Counter Culture Coffee is hosting its Catalog Cupping on Monday, November 2, from 1 PM to 2 PM at their training center in Atlanta. It's part of a monthly series they run, so if you miss this one, there's another session the following first Monday of the month. The whole thing is free.
During a cupping, you taste through the roaster's entire menu. The lineup rotates every month to keep up with the freshest seasonal offerings, so you'll find the latest releases sitting alongside their established blends and single-origin coffees. It's a good way to get a sense of what they're roasting across the board in one sitting.
Counter Culture has been at this since 1995, with a focus on environmental, social, and fiscal sustainability, and on training coffee people. They open that side of the business to the community through free education sessions like this one. If you're into coffee, it's a chance to see how they approach it without having to buy a bag of everything first.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Atlanta and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

This isn't their only coffee class, either. They also run Brewing Science classes, a manual brewing competition called Brewlette, and Tasting at Ten—a free session every Friday morning that pairs a coffee with a complementary brewing method and traces the journey from seed to cup. The Catalog Cupping is at 318 Cherokee Avenue Southeast #104, Atlanta, GA 30312, on Monday, November 2, from 1 PM to 2 PM. It's free.
