Tasting at Ten

Counter Culture Coffee hosts Tasting at Ten every Friday at 10 AM, a free coffee tasting that's been a part of their routine for nearly three decades. The session opens up the roaster's regional Training Center to friends, customers, and coffee lovers, and you don't need any prior experience to join in.

Each week, the team picks a coffee or a few coffees and pairs them with a complementary brewing method. While you sip, they share the story behind the selection—whether it's a classic blend or a fresh micro-lot—and trace the coffee's journey from seed to cup, explaining where it comes from and why they love it. It's a straightforward way to get a better sense of what you're drinking without having to be an expert first.

If you're looking for something more comprehensive, the Atlanta venue also holds monthly Catalog Cupping events on the first Monday of each month, where tasters work through the roaster's entire menu. Between that and the weekly tastings, there are plenty of ways to spend a morning with coffee if that's your thing.
