A weekly market featuring local farmers, producers and artisans offering fresh seasonal produce, locally made goods and handmade items in Piedmont Park.
Piedmont Park Green Market is back this Saturday, October 17, at Piedmont Park in Midtown. It's one of those Atlanta traditions that's been running for more than 20 years, bringing together local farmers, producers, and artisans right in the heart of the park. The market runs every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM, from the last weekend in March through the second weekend in December—this season goes through December 12, 2026.
What you'll find there is a mix of fresh seasonal produce, locally made goods, and unique handmade items, with about 25 vendors showing up each week. It's known for a high concentration of certified organic vendors, artisan cheeses from licensed dairies, fresh eggs, baked goods, and mushrooms. It's as much about the people as the shopping; they describe it as a chance to connect with neighbors and meet the people who grow your food.
The market is especially kid-friendly, with wide open space to move around, and dogs are welcome on a leash. The park itself is managed through a collaboration between the 501(c)3 nonprofit Piedmont Park Conservancy and the City of Atlanta, with about 95% of its upkeep funded by private donations.
