Halloween-themed market day at Unity Plaza where student entrepreneurs from Student-Made showcase their handmade goods and services.
Atlanta Market Day comes to Unity Plaza on Thursday, October 29, from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. It's a Halloween-themed get-together run by Georgia State University's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute, LaunchGSU, and the POUNCE Rewards Program. The day centers on Student-Made, the university's online marketplace that lets students sell their own products and services.
On the day, student entrepreneurs—known as Pantherpreneurs—bring their businesses out of the digital space and into the plaza. You'll find handmade goods and innovative services on display alongside tricks, treats, and talent, and visitors are encouraged to come in costume. It's a good chance to see what students are actually making and selling, rather than just reading about it online.
Unity Plaza is on the GSU campus, just outside the Georgia State Student Center. The plaza is also home to Bronzy, the bronze Pounce mascot of Georgia State, whom visitors are invited to pet for good luck. If you're already around downtown on a Thursday, it's an easy stop.
