A candlelit tribute concert by the Listeso String Quartet, playing Whitney Houston songs in Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park.
Candlelight: A Tribute to Whitney Houston comes to Magnolia Hall on Thursday, November 19, 2026. It's a tribute concert, so it's not affiliated with Whitney Houston, her estate, or her official representatives. The music is performed by the Listeso String Quartet, and the whole thing runs about 65 minutes.
The Candlelight format is pretty specific: instead of stage lights, the music is performed under the glow of candlelight. It's a multi-sensory experience, and the string quartet takes on songs by Whitney Houston, so you're hearing her music stripped down to strings rather than the big production of the original recordings. The set is around an hour long, which is short enough to be a focused evening without dragging.
Magnolia Hall is in the heart of Piedmont Park at 1320 Monroe Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. It's a 225-capacity room that dates back to 1945, when it was built as a blacksmith's forge. It still has its original operational fireplace, exposed oak rafters, and Mission-style chandeliers, so the room itself has as much character as the music. It's a small space, and the candlelight fits right in with that old-school feel.
