A National Dog Day celebration at Dos Caminos featuring modern Mexican food, handcrafted cocktails, and treats for dogs on the patio.
Dos Caminos is celebrating National Dog Day with Paws on The Patio, a week-long event running from Thursday, Oct 15 through Wednesday, Oct 21, at their Midtown spot, 1100 Peachtree St NE. It's a simple enough setup: you bring your dog, they get a treat, and you get to eat and drink while they hang out with you.
The treat is the Paw-Camole Pup Cup, a mix of sweet potato and pumpkin purée topped with a peanut butter milk bone. If you get there early enough, your dog also walks away with a Dos Caminos bandana. Both are available while supplies last, so if you're planning on it, don't wait until the end of the week. They've also got water cups on hand for the pups.
While your dog is occupied, you can work your way through the modern Mexican menu. There are birria tacos, sizzling fajitas, cantina nachos, skirt steak asada, and mole short ribs, with handcrafted margaritas and a wide selection of premium tequilas and mezcals to go with them. It's a full meal, not just a snack, so you can actually sit and eat instead of just grabbing a drink and heading home.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind before you head over. Dogs are welcome in the designated front patio area only, and they need to stay under your control the whole time. You're also expected to clean up after them. It's free to attend, and the event runs from 11:30 AM to 9 PM every day from Oct 15 through Oct 21.
