The largest Nutcracker production in North America, featuring international dancers, acrobatics, costumes and puppets to Tchaikovsky's score.
NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet returns to The Fox Theatre for a limited holiday run this December. It's billed as the largest Nutcracker production in North America, a touring spectacular that blends world-class international ballet with gravity-defying acrobatics, magnificent costumes and towering puppets, all set to Tchaikovsky's iconic score. If you've seen the Nutcracker before, this is a different take on the storyβthe acrobatics and puppets add a whole other layer to the production.
There are three performances to choose from. On Wednesday, December 23, there's a 3 PM matinee and a 7 PM evening show, and then a 1 PM matinee on Thursday, December 24. Doors open one hour before showtime, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before the curtain goes up. The front-of-house is primarily cashless, though they still take cash at the merchandise stands.

If you're arriving early, there's a new gift shop at the Fox that stocks Fox-branded merchandise inspired by the theatre's history, architecture and Atlanta roots. It's a good spot to pick up something for the house before the show starts. Between the three dates, you can fit it in as a mid-week treat or a Christmas Eve afternoon outing. The Fox is at 660 Peachtree St NE, right in the heart of the city.
