Free outdoor fitness class led by instructor Dawn Peck, mixing Zumba, Hip-Hop and upbeat rhythms, part of the Moves on the Green series.
Moves on the Green is back at Midtown Green on Thursday, October 15, for another session of its free outdoor fitness series. This one is a Cardio Dance class led by Dawn Peck, who's a veteran instructor and the face of the whole October run. The series is run by the Midtown Alliance, and the idea behind it is pretty straightforward: bringing people together through movement, fresh air, and connection.
Peck's Cardio Dance mixes easy-to-follow choreography with a wide range of upbeat rhythms. You'll hear Zumba, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Reggae, and Reggaeton, so the music shifts around rather than sticking to one lane. It's designed to be accessible, and you don't need any dance experience to join in.

The class runs from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Midtown Green, 98 14th Street, in the heart of Midtown. It's outdoors, and the location is within walking distance of MARTA's Arts Center and Midtown stations, which makes it easy to get to without a car. Admission is free, but you do need to register in advance.
