Tribute show to Runrig playing the band's hits on the final leg of the 'All Roads Lead North Tour'.
The Runrig Experience are playing The Tivoli Theatre on Friday 21 January 2027, as part of the final leg of their All Roads Lead North Tour. They're a tribute act dedicated to the music of Runrig, whom the venue describes as the greatest Scottish band of all time. If you've spent any time around here, you'll know that's a band with a deep connection to the Highlands and a long history of Gaelic songs and folk-rock.
The set works through Runrig's hits, and the list of songs they're bringing to Aberdeen covers a good stretch of their catalogue. You'll hear Every River, Protect & Survive, Alba, The Story and Loch Lomond β that last one being the one most people recognise. It's a set built around the songs that defined the band, rather than a deep dive into the B-sides, so it's a good place to start if you're coming to Runrig for the first time.
