The Guns & Roses Experience UK

The Guns & Roses Experience are playing Cafe Drummonds on Saturday 24 October, bringing their tribute to Guns N' Roses to Aberdeen. It's a straightforward one: they're a tribute act, and the whole night is built around the music of the band they're covering.

The set is a long one, running for two hours, and they describe it as bone-crushing. That's a fair way to put it when you're talking about Guns N' Roses — the songs are built on heavy riffs and big vocals, and they're playing enough of them to fill a good chunk of the evening. If you're coming for the songs you know, two hours is plenty of time to get through them.

It's a tribute show, so the focus is on the material rather than anything new. They'll be working through the Guns N' Roses songbook, and the length of the set means they can cover a fair bit of ground. If you've spent your life with those records, you'll recognise the songs as they go.

The gig starts at 20:00 at Cafe Drummonds, with tickets from £17.60.
