A high-energy live show marking 45 years of the Blues Brothers legacy with blues and country classics played live with a horn band.
The Chicago Blues Brothers play The Tivoli Theatre on Friday 22 January 2027, starting at 7:30pm. It's a night built around the 45th anniversary of the Blues Brothers legacy, and the set pulls from two different worlds: the hits from the original films and some of the biggest country anthems of all time. Both are played live, with no backing tracks, so everything you hear comes from the stage.
That's the key to the whole thing. The production is built around a powerhouse live band and blazing horns, and it's that brass section that does the heavy lifting on the blues and country classics. It's a high-energy night that mixes the two styles side by side, and the live band is what holds it together. The show has already played the Adelphi and Savoy Theatres in London's West End, and it's picked up a few reviews along the way: The Stage called it 'tight, classy and brassy', Time Out described it as 'highly charged, fun and infectious', and Writebase Liverpool gave it a '10/10 perfect'.
