Music bingo night at The Cellar where song snippets replace the called numbers, with prizes and proceeds supporting local cats.
Rock & Roll Bingo comes to The Cellar on Thursday 19 November, from 18:30 to 22:00. If you've played bingo before, you know the drill: you get a sheet, numbers are called, and you mark them off until someone shouts 'house'. The twist here is that instead of numbers, you'll hear snippets of songs. If you recognise the track on your sheet, you mark it; if you don't, you keep listening. There are prizes for lines and for the full house, so it's as much a music quiz as it is a game of chance.
The night is run by The Cellar, and it doubles as a fundraiser, with the proceeds going to support cats in the local area. So, alongside the prizes, there's a bit more to it than just winning a few quid.
