Jamback & Locky

Jamback & Locky are playing Unit 51 on Thursday 12 November, with the night presented by FLY. It's an underground dance music night, so you know the sort: late start, late finish, and the music taking centre stage.

FLY is the name behind it, and they've built a bit of a reputation for championing cutting-edge music across Scotland. Alongside their weekly clubs, they put on FLY FESTIVAL and FLY WAREHOUSE, as well as a string of the country's top underground dance events. The roster of guests they've brought over is a good way to get a feel for the room they run — names like &ME, Chris Stussy, PAWSA, Marlon Hoffstadt, sim0ne, DJ Heartstring, Chloé Caillet, Interplanetary Criminal, Job Jobse, Mr G, Max Dean, EFFY, Josh Baker, Sally C and KILIMANJARO. It's a broad spread of the underground, and this night fits right into that.

On the night, it's Jamback and Locky taking the helm. The venue is Unit 51 on Carnegie's Brae in Aberdeen, AB10 1BF. Doors open at 10:00 pm, so it's a proper late one, and final entry is at 1:00 am, which gives you plenty of time to get in and settle in before the night really gets going. Tickets are £22.85 for a standard entry, and the whole thing is strictly 18+.
