Movicals

Movicals comes to The Tivoli Theatre on Thursday 4 February 2027, starting at 7:30pm. Billed as 'The Best of Movies & Musicals', it's a live musical extravaganza that takes the audience on a whirlwind journey through the musical decades, where stage and screen come alive. A hand-picked cast of singers and dancers, described as some of the UK's finest performers, work their way through some of the most iconic musicals of the last 50 years, from Les Misérables and Fame to Mamma Mia and Wicked. The show is presented as a tribute to the world of musical theatre.

Because it's a tribute rather than a single production, the night is a survey of the West End and Broadway over half a century. You'll hear numbers from Les Misérables and Fame alongside Mamma Mia and Wicked, so it's a good fit if you've got a few different favourites rather than just one. The cast handles the singing and the dancing, and the whole thing is framed as a celebration of the genre.

Tickets are £31.50, with concessions at £29.50 and under-12s at £23.50. Each price includes a £1 venue restoration donation. The Tivoli is at 34-48 Guild Street, Aberdeen, AB11 6NB, and the show starts at 7:30pm on Thursday 4 February.
