Stand-up show by Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Li Jin Hao, in his softly spoken, surrealist style, about nostalgia and his first relationship.
Li Jin Hao brings Falling From A Moon to Lemon Tree on Monday 26 October, starting at 7:30pm. It's his second stand-up show, which he also staged at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe, and it's the one he's taking on tour.
If you've never seen him, Hao works in a softly spoken, surrealist style. The hour crosses timelines, galaxies and generations, and he describes it as a show about nostalgia and the break-up of his first relationship: losing his first love and leaving his first home to chase his first dream. Along the way, he asks when childhood wonder ends and adulthood begins.
He's an Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer, and the critics have been on board with the tone. The Scotsman called him a 'distinct new voice in comedy', and The Telegraph praised the show's 'lyrical, child-like sensibility'. Beyond the stage, he's appeared on Mitchell & Webb Are Not Helping (Channel 4), DMs Are Open (BBC Radio 4), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), ITVX Presents: Live Comedy From The Edinburgh Fringe (ITVX) and Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central).
