Grippers headlines a night of rock, punk and funk at the harbourside venue Krakatoa, with The Fragz, Razortooth and Mike Skizo.
Grippers are playing Krakatoa on Friday 30 October, and they're not coming alone. It's a four-band bill, with The Fragz, Razortooth and Mike Skizo all on the same night, so you'll get a full run of live music rather than just one set. Grippers take the headline spot, and the other three open the evening.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Krakatoa is a grassroots music venue and tiki dive bar on Aberdeen's harbourside at 2 Trinity Quay. It's a site that's housed a bar for almost 500 years and takes its name from the 1883 volcanic eruption. It runs a busy live calendar that leans into rock, metal, punk and funk, welcoming original music and covers alike. By capacity it's the sixth largest of the city's top ten venues, with room for around 200 people standing, and it's cited as a key fixture of Aberdeen's independent gig scene.

That gives you a good sense of the room: a harbourside dive bar with a capacity of about 200, and a programme that sits comfortably in the rock, metal and punk end of things. Grippers lead the bill, with The Fragz, Razortooth and Mike Skizo filling out the rest of the night. It's a four-band line-up, so there's plenty to get through before the night is done. The whole thing goes down at Krakatoa, 2 Trinity Quay, Aberdeen, AB11 5AA, on Friday 30 October.
