Sixth annual weekend of live music headlined by Dominic Kirwan, with Joe Davitt Band, The Benn Sisters, Barry Kirwan, Sarah Jory and Shannon Petrie across three days.
Dominic Kirwan & Friends return to the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 November for their 6th Annual Music Weekend. It's a full weekend of live music in the hotel's Grand Ballroom, and this year's line-up brings together Dominic Kirwan, the Joe Davitt Band, The Benn Sisters (Carrie and Lele Benn), Barry Kirwan, Sarah Jory and Shannon Petrie. After five previous years and strong support from audiences across the country, Kirwan and his team say they're back bigger and better than ever, and that 2026 is the year to experience it.
The weekend is built around three days of music. It kicks off on Friday 20 November with an arrival and an evening show from 20:30. Saturday 21 is the main event, a full day that includes a gala dinner and another evening show. Sunday 22 rounds it off with an afternoon show before everyone heads home. It's a lot of music packed into one weekend, so you can go for the whole thing or just pick the parts that suit you.

Across those three days, the bill is shared between Dominic Kirwan and his guests: the Joe Davitt Band, The Benn Sisters, Barry Kirwan, Sarah Jory and Shannon Petrie. The Grand Ballroom at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, 43-45 Market Street, AB11 5EL, hosts every session, so you won't be hopping between venues. The organisers describe the weekend as always in high demand and prone to selling out, so if you're planning to be there, it's worth getting your tickets sorted early.
