Comedy show in which three vintage-style cleaning ladies start a secret sex chat line, with Crissy Rock and Leah Bell.
Dirty Dusting comes to The Tivoli Theatre on Tuesday 9 February 2027, with the curtain going up at 7:30pm. It's a comedy written by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood, directed by Leah Bell, and it's part of a UK-wide tour staged by Entertainment Unlimited.
The story follows three 'vintage style' cleaning ladies — Gladys, Olive and Elsie — who find themselves facing redundancy. Rather than take it lying down, they stumble on an unconventional way of making extra cash: starting their own sex chat line. The catch is they have to keep the whole thing a secret from their boss, Dave, which is where most of the comedy comes from. It's a laugh-out-loud comedy in the traditional sense, built around the three of them running a business they're not supposed to have.
On stage, the lead roles are played by Crissy Rock, known from Benidorm, and Leah Bell, a Stage Award winner who also directed the production. They're joined by Vanessa Karon and Paul Dunn. With the three cleaning ladies at the centre and Dave as the boss they're hiding everything from, the cast covers the whole setup.
