Stand-up show by President Obonjo, a Liverpool comedian of Nigerian heritage, with support from RayJack Johnston.
President Obonjo is playing Breakneck Comedy on Friday 13 November, with a second show on Saturday 14 November. He's billed as 'a great dictator comedy', and he's joined by RayJack Johnston.
Obonjo was born in Liverpool to Nigerian parents, his father from Akure and his mother from Warri. He arrived in Nigeria in the early 1970s and moved to the UK in 1985, and he's only returned home twice since then. He's kept in touch with the state of the nation through social media and his fan base in Nigeria, and he's become a major figure in the comedy world outside the country. He takes his act to another level with animations, audio-visual displays and other creative graphics, reaching his fans across Facebook, YouTube and other mass-communication media.
