A 60-minute talk and Q&A with Alex Partridge, founder of UNILAD and LADBIBLE, about discovering ADHD in adulthood, part of Aberdeen Performing Arts' Attention Seekers series.
Alex Partridge is coming to The Lemon Tree on Wednesday 21 October, as part of the Attention Seekers series run by Aberdeen Performing Arts. It's a live conversation about discovering ADHD in adulthood, and the whole thing is built around Partridge's own experience of it.
Partridge is the founder of UNILAD and LADBIBLE, and he describes himself as an ADHD author, podcast host and entrepreneur. He draws on his own story to help audiences reframe shame and self-judgement as simply being wired differently. The session runs as a 60-minute interview followed by a 30-minute audience Q&A, with no interval in between. If you need a break, there's a quiet space available on-site.
Attention Seekers is Aberdeen Performing Arts' neurodiversity event series, and the name comes from a phrase too often used to dismiss people who don't 'fit in'. The series reclaims it, bringing in neurodivergent leaders to share refreshingly honest experiences. The aim is to replace judgement and shame with understanding, and to create a safe space where people feel heard and supported.
