Yotam Ottolenghi hosts a live cooking masterclass and talk about his new book 'Simple Too' at the Grand Opera House.
Yotam Ottolenghi is coming to the Grand Opera House on Monday 7 September, as part of his Simple Too LIVE tour. It's a live cooking show built around his new book, Simple Too, and the evening is split into two distinct halves.
The first part is a talk. Ottolenghi walks through the recipes in the book, the influences that shaped them, and some stories from his early years. It's the conversational side of things, where he explains the thinking behind the dishes before any cooking actually starts.
In the second half, he moves to the stove and cooks one of the recipes from the book live on stage. While he works, he takes questions and suggestions from the audience, so it's as much a Q&A as it is a demonstration. If you've got a specific query about a technique or a tweak you've been wondering about, that's your chance to get it answered while he's mid-prep.
