Tribute show celebrating 50 years of the classic Rumours album by Fleetwood Mac, performing their songs as covers.
Rumours of Fleetwood Mac play York Barbican on Sunday 27 June 2027, starting at 7:30pm. They're a tribute band that tours Fleetwood Mac's songs as covers, and this particular show is built around the 50th anniversary of Rumours.
That's the core of the night: they play Rumours note for note and in its entirety, from start to finish. Once the album is through, they add in the rest of the group's greatest hits, so you'll hear the big songs that didn't make that one record too. It's a full-album set plus the hits, rather than a best-of mix.
There's a bit of a pedigree behind it. The show is personally endorsed by Mick Fleetwood, a founding member of the original band, and is billed as the ultimate tribute to the group, channeling the spirit of Fleetwood Mac at their best. The press has been on board with that, too: Mick Fleetwood called it 'an extraordinary emotive performance', The Sunday Times described it as 'a stunning and incredibly accurate snapshot of the World's first Super Group', and the Mail on Sunday went as far as to say they 'do Fleetwood Mac better than Fleetwood Mac'.
