A major tribute production celebrating the music and life of Whitney Houston with sensational vocalists and a full live band.
Queen of the Night brings its Whitney Houston tribute to the York Barbican on Friday 28 August, with the show starting at 7:30pm. It's a full-band production rather than a solo act, with sensational vocalists and a complete live band on stage throughout the night.
The set covers three decades of Houston's repertoire, and the song list is a long one. You'll hear the dancefloor numbers like 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody', 'I'm Every Woman', and 'So Emotional', alongside the ballads she's best known for: 'I Will Always Love You', 'The Greatest Love Of All', 'One Moment In Time', 'Run to You', and 'Saving All My Love'. There are also later tracks in the mix, like 'My Love is Your Love' and 'Baby', so it reaches across her whole career rather than sticking to the early hits.
There's a bit of history behind it, too. The production is billed as the UK's biggest Whitney Houston tribute and has toured extensively, playing the Royal Albert Hall and The London Palladium. It comes from the same producers behind What's Love Got To Do With It? - The Tina Turner Tribute, and it returned in 2025 to mark its 10th anniversary, following a run that sold 100,000 tickets and included a UK arena tour. It's a tribute in the spirit of her work, and the production isn't associated with or endorsed by the Whitney Houston estate.
