Music legend Leo Sayer returns to the UK for a high-energy, hit-packed performance at York Barbican featuring his greatest hits.
Leo Sayer plays York Barbican on Friday 30 October, part of a tour he's described as what could be his last full run of dates across the UK. He's not retiring, he says, just slowing down the number of live shows he does. 'I love performing for my fans and look forward to doing so for many more years, but this will be the last time I play so many dates across the country.'
2026 is a big year for him regardless. He's releasing his autobiography and a CD box set that covers his whole career, so the tour sits alongside those. On the night, he'll be on stage with his band, and the set is built around the songs most people know. 'Thunder In My Heart', 'Moonlighting', 'One Man Band', 'I Can’t Stop Loving You', 'More Than I Can Say', 'Have You Ever Been in Love', 'The Show Must Go On', 'When I Need You' and 'You Make Me Feel Like Dancing' are all on the list. It's a high-energy show, and the setlist is a run of the hits rather than a deep dive into the albums.
