If you haven't been, THOR'S tipi is an outdoor space in the city centre at 46 Parliament Street. It's built around a disco canopy, with fire pits and outdoor swings, and it's fully wheelchair accessible. It's also dog and child friendly, so it works as much for a family afternoon as it does for a few drinks with friends. The whole thing is open to the public, with no bookings needed — they just ask you to rock on up.
There's plenty to eat and drink while the music is going. Two street food stalls run the kitchen: YUZU, doing Asian fusion, and My Big Fat Greek, with gyros and Greek snacks. The drinks menu covers cocktails, the Dirty Dr Pepper, and mega pints. It's a cashless site, so leave the coins at home and bring a card.
The gig itself is free, with the band on from 15:30 to 17:30 on Sunday 9 August at 46 Parliament Street.
