Gabrielle performs her greatest hits including 'Rise', 'Dreams' and 'Out of Reach' on her The Hits Tour at the York Barbican.
Gabrielle brings The Hits Tour to York Barbican on Monday 5 April 2027. It's a night built around the songs most people know her for, with 'Rise', 'Dreams', 'Out of Reach', 'Sunshine', 'When a Woman' and 'Give Me a Little More Time' all on the setlist.
If those titles ring a bell, it's because they cover a good stretch of her career. Gabrielle first broke through in the early 1990s, and Rise went four times platinum in 1999, while the greatest hits collection Dreams Can Come True cemented her place in the pop and soul charts. She's won a BRIT, a MOBO and an Ivor Novello Award, and has shared stages with Adele, Lionel Richie, Simply Red and Tom Jones. Her 2025-2026 run was her biggest UK tour to date, and The Hits Tour continues that momentum, celebrating over 30 years of her work.
It's not all old material, though. Her 2024 record A Place in Your Heart introduced her to a newer audience, and she's kept a presence on screen lately, appearing on The Masked Singer UK and Stormzy's Mel Made Me Do It. Between the early 90s breakthrough, the platinum success of Rise, and the more recent album, there's a fair bit of ground to cover.
