Singer-songwriter Frankie Dobson, described as the next Sam Fender, plays his headline show at The Crescent with support from Dead Cherry and Lizard County.
Frankie Dobson headlines The Crescent on Friday 27 November, his biggest show in York so far. He's a 24-year-old Anglo-Indian singer-songwriter now living in the city, and this is a standing show, so you'll be on your feet for the night.
Dobson first made his mark playing a packed-out solo show at the Isle of Wight Festival. Since then, he's built his following headlining and supporting acts like Jake Bugg, Kyle Faulkner of The View, and Tom Clarke of The Enemy. His manager, Leon Banks, has described him as 'the next Sam Fender', and that's one of the names he cites as an influence alongside The Raconteurs, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and The Vaccines.

It's a full bill, not just a solo turn. He's sharing the stage with Dead Cherry and Lizard County, with DJ Jonathan Cotton keeping things moving between sets. The night runs from 7:30pm to 11:00pm, and tickets are £8.25, which includes the booking fee.
