England Under-20s rugby team play a Six Nations home match against Italy at the LNER Community Stadium.
England Under-20s bring the Six Nations to LNER Community Stadium on Friday 19 February, when they take on Italy in a home fixture. It's part of the Under-20s Six Nations, the same tournament the senior men play in, just with the next generation of talent on the pitch. If you've followed the senior side, this is where you see the names that usually make the jump to the full squad a few years later.
For those who aren't familiar with the venue, the LNER Community Stadium is the one in York that opened in 2021. It's an 8,500-seater bowl with the pitch right in the middle, so you're never far from the action regardless of where you sit. It's hosted a fair few national and international games since it opened, including the Women's Rugby World Cup 2021, which actually took place in 2022, and an open training session with the England men's first team back in March of that year. It was also one of eight UK venues selected for the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025, hosting eight matches in August.

Beyond the big match days, the ground stays busy throughout the year. It's the home of the Leeds United U21s, and it'll also welcome the U21 teams of Sheffield United and Hull City. The stands, changing rooms, hospitality areas, conference rooms and catering are all available to hire, so it does more than just host games. This fixture brings the Under-20s to York for one of their home games of the tournament, with Italy as the opposition on the 19th. If you're into rugby, it's a good chance to see the England U20s in action on home soil.
