A musical concert featuring acclaimed Broadway and West End stars performing beloved songs from more than 29 Disney films, with theatrical effects and animation.
Disney Princess - The Concert comes to York Barbican on Friday 9 April 2027. It's a tribute to Disney songs performed by Broadway and West End stars, and it's the first time the show has toured the UK and Ireland.
The set pulls from more than 29 Disney films, so the songs will be familiar ground. You'll hear How Far I’ll Go, A Whole New World, Just Around the Riverbend, Part of Your World, Almost There, and Let It Go among them. It's not just the music, either: the show uses larger-than-life animation and theatrical effects, and the performers share behind-the-scenes stories from their time on stage and screen.
It's a production with a fair bit of mileage behind it. Since it premiered in 2021, it's played in 20 countries across five continents, including two US tours that covered more than 100 cities. This 2027 tour is its first run in the UK and Ireland, so York is one of its first stops on this side of the Atlantic.
