Concert by Brandon Flowers (The Killers) performing tracks from his solo album 'Thrasher' alongside hits from The Killers and previous solo albums.
Brandon Flowers plays York Barbican on Wednesday 21 October, his first York appearance since 2004. He's touring his new solo album, Thrasher, which comes out on 21 August through Island Records. The York date is part of a wider run across the UK and Ireland that kicks off on 14 October at Bournemouth's O2 Academy, with a special stop at London's Royal Albert Hall on 15 October.

On the night, Thrasher takes centre stage, with its songs played live for the first time. But it's not just the new material: the set pulls from his previous solo records, Flamingo (2010) and The Desired Effect (2015), and brings in songs from The Killers, the band he fronts. If you've followed his solo work, it's a chance to hear the new record alongside the older ones; if you only know him from The Killers, it's a look at what he does on his own.
Doors open at 19:00, and tickets go on sale Friday 3 July at 10:00. It's a paid show, so if you're planning on going, you'll want to be ready when they drop.
