A curated selection of Yorkshire makers, producers and artisans offering locally produced art, crafts, dog treats, homeware and food and drink.
Acomb Artisan Market returns to Front Street on Saturday 17 October, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. It's a high-street market run by Little Bird Made in partnership with local councillors, the council's Acomb Front Street Regeneration project and Make It York. It came back to the area after a successful 2025, and it runs on the third Saturday of the month.
The market is built around a curated selection of Yorkshire makers, producers and artisans. You'll find locally produced art, crafts, dog treats and accessories, homeware and a wide variety of food and drink. Jackie Crozier, managing director of Little Bird Made, says the markets are more than just a place to shop: a chance to enjoy the autumn days, discover new products and support local makers.
Regular stallholder Ami Wills, founder and illustrator at The Crafty Northerner, calls autumn her favourite time to pop up at the market, and she points to the community vibe along Front Street. The organisers maintain a strict rule of no coffee traders, and the venue is dog-friendly, with disabled parking and wheelchair-accessible toilets nearby.
