Outdoor yoga session led by Latonyia Sumpter, suitable for all levels, focusing on body and mind wellness.
Latonyia Sumpter is leading yoga at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Sunday, October 18, as part of the Fitness & Wellness series run by the Tampa Downtown Partnership. It's an outdoor class that runs from 6 PM to 7 PM, about an hour long, and it's open to yogis of all levels—beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Sumpter teaches with Empowered Wellbeing, and the session focuses on kindness and the overall wellness of the body and mind.
Since it's outdoors at the waterfront park, you'll want to bring your own mat. The class is free and doesn't require registration, so you can just show up. If you're driving in, parking is available at the Poe Garage right next to the park, as well as nearby street parking and other paid garages in the area.

This isn't a one-off, either. The series continues with sessions every Sunday evening from 6 PM to 7 PM, with upcoming dates on October 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, and December 6 and 13. If you can't make it this Sunday, there are plenty more to choose from through the end of the year.
