Homeschool enrichment session for ages 5-7 to explore matter and physics through movement, experiments and building challenges.
Museum of Science and Industry is hosting Let's Get Physical on Tuesday, April 6, 2027, as part of its SEED program. It's an interactive session for kids ages 5 to 7, and the whole thing is built around getting them moving to learn about matter and physics. Instead of sitting and listening, they'll be working through experiments and building challenges, so it's a hands-on afternoon rather than a lecture.
SEED stands for Homeschool Science Experience Enrichment Days, and these are monthly classes designed for homeschoolers. The museum describes them as enrichment that complements a homeschool curriculum through hands-on explorations of STEAM—science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Let's Get Physical fits right into that, with the physics and matter focus handled through movement and building.
