Live ukulele show by Feng E, the teenage virtuoso from Taipei who went viral with 'Classical Gas'.
Feng E plays Blue Strawberry on Friday, November 13, at 7:30 PM. He's a teenage ukulele virtuoso from Taipei, Taiwan, and this is a solo date in St. Louis.
If you haven't come across him yet, the name might ring a bell from a few years back. He first made a splash at ten years old with a viral rendition of Tommy Emmanuel's Classical Gas, and from there he became an international sensation. He's appeared twice on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and played on Asia's Got Talent and America's Got Talent, as well as on several morning TV shows across the U.S. He's performed in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China, and Hawaii, and his 2024 U.S. West Coast tour included the Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival. In 2025, he headlined the Denver International Ukulele Festival.
He doesn't just play solo, either. His band Resonance Effect took top prize at Taiwan's Taoyuan Iron Rose Hot Sound Awards, and he's built a following of nearly one million YouTube subscribers. More recently, he took part in a 2026 Folk Alliance Conference showcase in New Orleans.
