Tank and the Bangas play Off Broadway in the Cherokee Lemp District with support from Ariel J. and Zeus on their The Last Balloon Tour.
Tank and the Bangas bring their The Last Balloon Tour 2026 to Off Broadway on Sunday, October 25. They're a New Orleans group that's been moving through different sounds for over a decade, and this stop in St. Louis is part of a run that takes them across the country.
If you're coming to them for the first time, it helps to know where they've been. They've put out three studio albums: Thinktank in 2013, Green Balloon in 2019, and Red. The titles themselves trace a line from the early days to the more recent work, and the tour name, The Last Balloon, plays right into that. Along the way, they won the 2017 NPR Tiny Desk Contest and earned a Best New Artist nomination at the 2020 Grammy Awards, so they've got a fair bit of ground behind them.
They won't be the only ones on the bill. Ariel J. and Zeus are both opening, which means the night starts well before the headliner takes the stage. It's a full lineup rather than just a single opener, so you'll get a few different acts in one go.
