All-ages show by singer-songwriter MC Taylor's project Hiss Golden Messenger with Sam Amidon at Off Broadway.
Hiss Golden Messenger plays Off Broadway on Friday, November 13, with Sam Amidon opening. It's a full bill for a Friday night in St. Louis, and if you're not familiar with the name, it's the project of singer-songwriter MC Taylor, based in Durham, North Carolina.
Taylor started out releasing music through his own label, Heaven & Earth Magic Recording Company, before signing to Merge in 2014. Since then, his discography has grown to include Terms of Surrender, which earned a GRAMMY nomination. The songs are built around his voice and songwriting, and the live show brings that same focus to the stage.
Sam Amidon opens the night, so you'll get two sets before the room clears. The show is all ages, which means you can bring whoever you want, though there's a $3 minor surcharge for anyone under 21. If you're planning on drinking, you'll need a valid ID.
