State Champs play The Pageant with Cartel, Taylor Acorn and Like Roses in an all-ages show.
State Champs are playing The Pageant on Sunday, November 8, with Cartel, Taylor Acorn, and Like Roses on the bill. State Champs come from Albany, New York, and the current lineup is Ryan Graham, Evan Ambrosio, Derek Discanio, and Tyler Szalkowski. They play across pop punk, alternative, and pop rock, and they go by the tagline 'we are not cops'.
Sharing the bill is Cartel, the Conyers, Georgia group that broke out in the mid-aughts, threading the space between the turn-of-the-millennium pop-punk wave and the social-media generation. Their 2005 breakthrough LP Chroma debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, carried the Gold-certified hit 'Honestly', and landed the band on Warped Tour, TRL, and Epic Records. More than 250,000 copies later, it's still hailed by Rock Sound and Loudwire as one of the greatest pop-punk records of all time. Taylor Acorn and Like Roses round out the lineup.
