21-and-older Halloween outdoor event at the Missouri Botanical Garden with tastings from local distilleries, wineries and breweries, a costume contest, live music and a haunted tram ride.
Spirits in the Garden returns to the Missouri Botanical Garden on Friday, October 23, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. It's a 21-and-older outdoor event, held rain or shine, so you'll want to dress for the weather regardless of what the forecast says. Admission gets you tastings from local distilleries, wineries, and breweries, and the night is built around a costume contest and live music.
Beyond the drinks and the music, there's a fair amount of activity scattered across the grounds. You'll find pumpkin carvings, paranormal investigators, tarot readings, and aura drawings. There's also a haunted tram ride that takes you through the gardens. A cash bar and food are available to purchase, so if you want more than the tastings, bring some cash along.

The Garden is at 4344 Shaw Blvd, in the Shaw neighborhood, right next to Tower Grove Park. Tickets are $35, or $32 for garden members. They tend to sell out quickly, so you'll want to register in advance rather than waiting until the week of.
