Magic show by Walter King Jr. with a brunch buffet at City Winery St. Louis.
Walter King Jr. brings his Spellbinder Magic & Hip Hop Theater Brunch to City Winery on Sunday, October 18, for a midday show that pairs a magic set with a full brunch buffet. The performance runs from 12 PM to 1:30 PM, and the doors open early at 10:30 AM.
King is an award-winning illusionist who's built a reputation on blending cinematic production, dance, and stagecraft into a theatrical experience. He's described as the first African American illusionist to achieve viral global success, and his acclaimed residency, Diary of a Black Illusionist, has earned praise for mixing magic, memoir, and artistry. This brunch set brings that same theatrical approach to a midday slot.
City Winery is an intimate Midtown venue at City Foundry, known for its "dinner and a show" format where you get full service and award-winning wines in a seated setting. Over the years, it's hosted a wide range of acts—Prince, Robert Glasper, Taj Mahal, Kindred The Family Soul, Lyfe Jennings, and 10000 Maniacs—pairing live music, comedy, podcast recordings, and tribute concerts with chef-driven cuisine.

The brunch add-on gives you access to an all-you-can-eat buffet served from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, with drinks sold separately and service delivered right to your table. The show itself runs from 12 PM to 1:30 PM, so if you arrive when the doors open, you've got plenty of time to eat before the magic starts. Tickets start at $21.60.
