A night of original material and covers from three St. Louis musicians with more than 30 years of experience in the local music scene.
Michael Schaerer, Eric Lysaght, and Jeff Faulkner are playing together as a trio at Blue Strawberry on Saturday, January 16, 2027. It's a gathering of three St. Louis musicians who've spent more than 30 years in the local scene, and the set will pull from all three of their song catalogues, with some covers mixed in. The music comes from their own writing, so you'll hear original material from each of them rather than a single band's set.
If those names sound familiar, it's because they've been around the city's music scene since the 1990s. Back then, they were all part of the original STL scene, playing in bands like Pale Divine, The Eyes, L.O.V.E., Neptune Crush, and Soul Kiss. These days, they're still active in local acts: Superjam, The John Hughes Experience, and Mr Blue Sky, an ELO tribute. This trio brings them together on one stage, drawing from those different threads.
Blue Strawberry is an all-ages new music showroom and lounge in the Central West End, where local and national acts play at least three nights a week. They serve dinner five nights a week from a full-service menu, with a wine and beverage program to go with it. There's a $15 per guest food and drink minimum.
