Weekly Friday and Saturday night of live music with jazz, acoustic, rock and covers at City Foundry STL.
Saturday Live Music is back at City Foundry STL this Saturday, October 17, as part of the venue's regular weekend music series. It's a recurring thing: live music every Friday and Saturday night from 7 PM to 9 PM, so if you miss this one, there's usually another set the following weekend.
The music happens right in the food hall, which changes the whole vibe from a standard show. Instead of a dark room and a stage you have to stare at, the music runs alongside the food stalls and the crowd moving through the hall. You can grab a drink or a bite from one of the vendors and just let the sound hang in the background while you hang out, or you can make it the main event and settle in for the full two hours.
As for what you'll hear, the series pulls from a few different directions. The sets lean on jazz, acoustic, rock, and covers, so the sound shifts depending on who's playing. One night might be more laid-back and acoustic, the next leaning into rock or jazz, and the covers keep things familiar. It's less about a single headliner and more about having live music as part of the evening.
