Tony Award-winning Broadway musical with a jazz- and pop-influenced score, directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Dominique Kelley.
The Great Gatsby opens at The Fabulous Fox Theatre on December 22, 2026, and runs through January 3, 2027. It's the Tony Award-winning musical based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, bringing the Roaring Twenties to the stage.
Behind the production is a full creative team: Marc Bruni directs, with choreography by Dominique Kelley, a book by Kait Kerrigan, and an original jazz- and pop-influenced score by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen. The show is billed as a "great, big Broadway extravaganza that explodes with life and energy," so it's less of a quiet character study and more of a full-scale production.
The venue is part of the story here. The Fabulous Fox Theatre, at 527 North Grand Boulevard in Grand Centre, has been completely restored to its original Siamese-Byzantine decor. It's one of those rooms that does half the work for you before the curtain even goes up, and it hosts everything from touring Broadway shows to music, dance, and comedy concerts, as well as movie premieres and special events.
