A symphony orchestra performs Craig Armstrong's complete Love Actually score live while the film is projected on a large screen at The Fabulous Fox Theatre.
Love Actually In Concert comes to The Fabulous Fox Theatre on Sunday, December 13, at 7 PM. It's a live concert experience that pairs the holiday film with a full symphony orchestra performing Craig Armstrong's complete score live, in sync with the movie projected on a large screen. If you've seen the film before, you know the music is a big part of it, and here you'll hear it played by a live orchestra rather than coming from the speakers.
The whole thing is built around that synchronization: the orchestra plays the score in real time as the movie runs on screen, so the music hits the same moments you remember. Armstrong wrote the original score for the film, and that's what the symphony will be working through throughout the night.
The Fabulous Fox Theatre is one of the city's historic venues, known for its architecture and grand atmosphere. Seating runs from the floor up to an elevated balcony, so you'll have a few different levels to choose from when you pick your seats. It's a cashless venue, which means they only take major credit cards—keep that in mind if you're planning on grabbing drinks or snacks before the show starts.
