Juos is playing AVA Garden Bar on Friday, December 4, starting at 9 PM. He's a Chicano DJ and producer from South Central Los Angeles, and this is a live set, so you'll be hearing him work the room in person rather than just a recorded mix.

Juos got into dance music when he was 15, which is when he started making his own tracks. Since then, his productions have been played by some of the biggest names in dance music, and he's spent the years since then building a sound that doesn't stick to one lane. His sets move across Deep House, Latin House, House, and Tech House, so the night can shift from a slower, deeper groove into something more driving and club-ready without much warning.

That range is a good thing to keep in mind if you're deciding whether to come out. If you're more of a Deep House person, you'll find your spot; if you're into the punchier side of Tech House, that's there too. And because he's a producer himself, he's not just spinning other people's records—he's coming from a background of making the music he plays.
