R&B group Jodeci plays the Stifel Theatre on their 35th anniversary tour of their 1991 debut album 'Forever My Lady'.
Jodeci are coming to the Stifel Theatre on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, as part of their 35th Anniversary Tour. The whole night is built around their debut album, Forever My Lady, which came out in 1991. That record went triple platinum and spent a long stretch at number one on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart, and it's the one they're celebrating here.
If you know the album, you know the songs that carried it: the title track, "Forever My Lady," sat at the top of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks chart for 49 weeks, and it was joined by "Come & Talk To Me" and "Stay." Those three were the core of the record, and they're the ones you'll likely hear that night.
For a bit of background, Jodeci formed in Charlotte, North Carolina, and brought together two pairs of brothers. There were the DeGrates—founder and leader Donald "DeVante Swing" DeGrate and Dalvin DeGrate—and the Haileys—main lead singer Cedric "K-Ci" Hailey and second lead singer Joel "Jo-Jo" Hailey. The group's name came from combining those last names. After Forever My Lady, they followed up with Diary of a Mad Band in 1993, which went double platinum, then The Show, The After Party, The Hotel in 1995, and later the 2005 collection Back to The Future: The Very Best of Jodeci. Over the years, they sold more than 20 million records worldwide, landed five number ones and ten Top 10 hits, and eventually split into the side-project K-Ci & JoJo.
