Single-day harvest celebration with about 110 local maker and food vendors, craft breweries, live music and free admission at Tower Grove Park.
Tower Grove Park hosts the Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 18, from 11 AM to 5 PM. It's a single-day celebration of the season that brings together local makers, handcraft artisans, gourmet food trucks, craft breweries, and live music in one spot. The day is free to attend.
Around 110 local vendors fill the rows, with food and alcohol trucks, food producers, and artist and maker stalls making up the bulk of it. It's the kind of setup where you can spend a few hours eating your way through the trucks and browsing the stalls without ever leaving the park. There's a downloadable site map to help you keep track of where everything is, which is handy given the number of vendors. The festival is supported by sponsors including Dave Sinclair Lincoln, St. Louis Mom, and Gutter Helmet.
Live music runs throughout the day. Big Mike Aguirre & The Blu City All Stars take the stage from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM, and Ghost Kitchen follows from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Between the two, there's music playing from just before the gates open until the festival wraps up. If you're coming for the food and shopping, you can drift in and out whenever you like; if you're coming for the music, you've got two full sets to work with.
